Title: Shrimp suitable for South American biotope
Post by: Littlefish on October 10, 2018, 08:59:11 AM
I'm struggling to find shrimp suitable for a South American tank. Any suggestions and/or advice?
I'm going to head to LFS later today to see if they have any suggestions too.

Palaemonetes paludosus, the glass or ghost shrimp, is from the USA which is close but not south America.

The Amazon glass shrimp is from the Amazon but I have no idea on their availability. https://web.archive.org/web/20160713033043/http://www.petshrimp.com:80/amazonglassshrimp.php (Sorry about the long address and the time it takes to load but the website has been redesigned and  no longer includes species descriptions so I've had to use Wayback Machine)

The Carribean filter shrimp https://web.archive.org/web/20160326044502/http://petshrimp.com/caribbeandwarffiltershrimp.php
