Yesterday I wrote several posts on here and another forum and forgot to click post  :o This thread was one of them.

The only thing I said that fcmf didn't is that there was some debate as to whether HRPs are a variant of convict cichlid or a separate species. If some people think that are convict variants, their behaviour and care must be similar to convicts so looking at their profile should help on sites where they don't have HRPs.

Thanks Sue and FCMF.

It seems they need a slightly bigger tank, 90cm to what I have 10cm, so might not be best.

Now thinking possibly a tank with barbs in. I guess they should all get on as they are all the same species. Will look into if they get on with Corys as would be good to have a bottom dweller at some point.

I'm so sorry, @barneyadi - I was multi-tasking at the time and recall thinking that I must double-check the post to check that the link had been copied and pasted in ok (maybe I had a sixth sense it wasn't going to work!), but I must have got distracted by my other tasks and forgotten to do so!  ::)
