Hope this in the right place if not sorry

Can I put 2 more parrot fish in my tank
500L 60" long 30" high 24" deep
Fluval FX4 filter
2 parrots
20 Boanasaries Tetra
20 Rummy nose Tetra
10 Gold Barbs
10 Cardinal Tetra
10 Silver tip Tera
2 Bristle Nose Plec

A Selection of Fish in my Fish Community Creator Tanks
Bristlenose Plec (4) - Golden Barb (4) - Black Widow Tetra (8) - Silver Tip Tetra (10) - Buenos Aires Tetra (20) - Lemon Tetra (6) - Yoyo Loach (4) - Golden Panchax (3) - Red Rainbowfish (6) - Black Neon Tetra (20) -
Note: The user may not necessarily own these fish, these are tanks that they may be building or researching for stocking purposes

I assume you mean blood red parrots, the hybrid fish that is seen everywhere? To be honest I don't know. I would err on the side of caution as these fish are cichlids, whatever their exact parentage, and the two you have now might not accept any new parrots.

The same applies if you mean true parrots, Hoplarchus psittacus, which are described as aggressive towards con-specifics.

@Shelly I don't keep Parrots but this sound like it is stretching things a bit. The general recommendation I see say 'generally social within species' and you already have quite a mixture in the tank, the additional competition for space might just tip the balance.
I would think the filter would also start to struggle as their bio load is shown as heavy. You could add more filtration but there would still be a compatibility / fish personality risk, do you have a viable backup plan to rapidly move all the non-parrots if things don't work?

Yes have a get out plan. They might be bonny things great personality, but if things don't work out they will be going back to my  lfs
Only got them cos wife liked them (soft sod) that I am
