Holiday feeding blocks recommendations please

I am going away for 6 days in a couple of months and have two cycled fish tanks 60l and 90l. I know by far the best is getting someone in to feed them but not sure is possible so have been looking for holiday blocks.
I know tetra is a good brand and have weekend and holiday blocks... Give them an off day or two a week so was looking at weekend blocks and would put in fewer than recommended for no of fish to avoid excessive wastage / over feeding.
Any other suggestions? All seem to have mixed reviews on amazon....
Many thanks!

My recommendation would be - don't!

Holiday blocks have a terrible reputation with some people even coming home to a tank full of dead fish. The main problem is the matrix the food is in, it tends to be chalk and can fill your tank with a white deposit. They can also foul the water with uneaten food.

Fish can be left without food for up to 2 weeks. If you don't want to leave them for the duration of your holiday I would look at automatic feeders, being aware that the more expensive ones work better. Some cheap ones either drop the whole lot in at once or they let moisture in and the food gets damp and won't come out. Always test them before you go away so you know they work.

Can the fish really go that long? Have left them 3 days without a worry!  90l tank is pretty fully stocked and Other not quite as has a betta in there...

Will look into automated feeders any brands that are better than others?

Thanks

I'm afraid I can't say which ones are better as I have never used one.

Since I've had fish, my children have been old enough to leave at home so they fed them. They both have their own homes now but the older one almost passes our front door to get to work so he calls in a feeds them every couple of days.
