I'm thinking of getting some of these to go with my harlies, cherry barbs and endlers as a slightly larger fish and for colour. All seems ok on the CC, is there anything that would not make them a good addition?

Hi Andy,
I have 4 Lake Kutubu Rainbowfish in my 200L tank and they are very peaceful towards the 4 tetras and 4 panda garras currently in there. They are all male so flare up an orange/red colour on their heads to show off towards eachother but never cause any injuries. I know the rainbow fish are genrally a peaceful group so im not aware of any problems the dwarf rainbows will cause.

I agree. Rainbowfish are usually peaceful.

They will look boring in the shop, they will colour up. Males have reddish fins, females have yellowish fins. Make sure they have small particles of food as rainbowfish have narrow throats. And they need clean water - it is usually recommended to do largish weekly water changes (ie more than 25%)
