Title: Discus Flickering

Hi folks can you tell me I have 3 large Discus in my tank about 5 to 6 inches with others around 4 inches and the 3 bigger ones are going through a pecking order also they are Flickering their bodies at each other what is this could be would it be in a mating game .

When south American cichlids flick their bodies at each other it is one of two things. It could be a male and female going through some courtship ritual, or more commonly it is two males sparring for dominance.

From my experience with rams I'd say definately mating behaviour  :cheers:
