Shrimp Moult

After a couple of false starts keeping Shrimp (I believe I added them to the community tank whilst they were too small - sorry chaps  ) I now have at least 1 good sized shrimp which appears to be doing well and I am hopeful of adding some more soon.

My shrimp has just moulted for a second time so I'm just wondering what to do with the discarded shell? I took the first one out but I've read that it can be useful to leave them in the tank to degrade as it'll release calcium back into the tank? Is this worthwhile or should I treat it as waste??

I shall go with that approach ta (assuming there's any left after 48 hours - I only spotted it this morning and quite a bit had gone by this evening!).

All your shrimp still present and accounted for Chris - no further trips abroad??
