Title: Slow motion video
Post by: Matt on June 19, 2016, 04:52:08 PM
Whilst playing with the camera today I found a slow motion video setting which made for some quite interesting footage so thought I'd share it with you all:

*SIGH* I really like rams and soooooo want a pair. I keep finding myself staring in tanks looking at them  :(  and this isnt a wish a tank twinning can fix either!

I go to the LFS on a regular basis to look at the fish I can't have.

Don't worry, there's plenty of fish I can't have too with my soft water...

I'm hoping to get some checkerboard cichlids when I eventually upgrade my tank (hopefully in a couple of months time).  I like smaller fish so these will be a great accompaniment to the rams.

OMG @Fiona , thanks for letting me know.
I might have to go and have a look this week.  ;D
It will be months before I can get them, but I've never actually seen them, except online, so that would be amazing.

They've got the normal ones as well, they're surprisingly large.  The guy to see it the bloke with the pony tail called Tom, I told him some of the peeps from here would be visiting and he said get them to mention my name, I don't think you'll benefit from it financially but he's a good guy to talk to, he actually studied marine biology(I think thats what he said).

@apache6467 thanks for the information. It is a bit of a drive, but always useful to know where they are being sold. I have got a few months of setting up and maturing the tank, so I have plenty of time. I've also found a place an hour away that is an online aquatics store, but allows collections, and I know they have stock. I always like to have a look at the fish before buying them, so I'll see what I can find over the next few months.  :)
