Well didn't take long and probably not particularly interesting for anyone other than me, but here's some pictures of my new shrimp! Not been able to get any of the 'clear' cherry red yet.

Those are all with my phone again, so hopefully I can grab a few better ones when I'm being less lazy and get my proper camera out!

ah Jesnon, they're really sweet.  How many did you get, and what are their names?

There's six of them - one's basically all clear, but that's the only one I can tell apart so far so no names yet! I definitely need a new theme though for names!

I can't tell my shrimps apart and I only have 4  ;D
And I still can't decide if I have males, females or both. I did see one of them with a few eggs a couple of weeks ago when she was cleaning her swimmerets, but no sign of any babies. And shortly after I got them, two of them were behaving in the 'I know there's a female ready to breed in here, where is she' manner. Other than that, no idea.

Good shrimp photos. I found two tiny shrimpettes in my filter on Wednesday - loks like the stock is increasing again. ;D

Nice pictures.

Here is a wee picture of 2 of my shrimps, I believe that the one at the front is a male the one at the back is a female.

Any thoughts?

Hmm looking at the paler shrimp it looks similar to how my 'male' shrimp looked before I realised 'he' was a she - it looks like it has a saddle which is something that females have, but I'm not very knowledgeable on shrimp tbh!
