I have managed to take some photos of the rice fish fry in the betta's tank. They are very small which means the photos of them are not very good, I'm afraid.

Pic 1 - look for the shiny eyes between the heater and its reflection, and towards the bottom right corner.
Pic 2 - the biggest of the four
Pic 3 - two in front of the airline tubing and one in front of the heater reflection
Pic 4 - the betta

Lovely to see some of your pics, @Sue - the rice fry('s eyes) are soooo cute, and your elderly betta is a very handsome gentleman.

Thanks for sharing the pics. Fry with huge eyes never fail to make me chuckle, they are just so cute.
Also great to see your betta again, he's still amazing.

It's the eyes that made me notice them, tiny little blue glows swimming round the tank when the light is on, and if I look closely I can see they are attached to a body.
The eggs must have been on the water sprite you can see in the photos, or in the bolbitis on a small piece of wood at the back of the tank both of which came from the 180 litre.
