Title: My planted tank
Post by: Helen on March 15, 2015, 08:21:16 PM
For nearly 5 years I have had a very natural looking planted tank. Today I got a mother's day gift that has changed that. Can't 'lose' it when your 2 yr old chose it. (At least Daddy kept her away from the 6" unicorn!)

Ahhh, that's cute.

Though I do agree it doesn't quite blend in with the natural look  ;D

Very cute...

At least it is keeping with the aquatic theme.

When I was setting up my tank my niece (who is 12 not 2) was desperate to get several brightly cloloured bits of plastic for it, she was even prepared to use her own money!

I too wanted a naturalist planted aquarium, I managed to to avoid the plastic but there is a half coconut cave in there which she gave me as a gift.

I'm hoping my placement keeps everyone happy. It is in the back corner of the tank and more easily seen if you're stood right next to it and about 1m tall! ;)
