My New Pearl Cichlid

Hi All.

I thought you might like to see a pic of my newest fish. He is a Pearl Cichlid (Geophagus Brasiliensis). He is about 8 inches long and he is gorgeous.  :)

I got him from someone on Facebook because he had outgrown their tank. He's in a tank on his own because he is so much bigger than any of my other fish I didn't want them to end up being his dinner. lol.

He does look a bit sullen doesn't he? lol.

He is doing fine. Being an earthmover, I have moved him into a 4 foot tank with a sand substrate. He can now happily move his decor around to his hearts content. He really is a messy bugger.  :D
