Here is a pic of one of my Diamond tetras. I think they are truly beautiful especially the males when displaying. The fins are tinged with mauve. It's unfortunate they look so drab in the Shops as juveniles so people tend overlook them.

That really is a beautiful fish.

I'd say the Pristella (X-Ray) Tetras are my absolute favourites, but it's so hard choosing a fave... Don't have a great pic of them at the mo, so for now probably my second faves: Corydoras Ornatus (with some of the Pristellas lurking behind them)

Your diamond tetras look amazing @daveyng
I've seen them at LFS and thought they looked pretty, but didn't realise that their fins were that colour. 8)
I don;t think I can pic a fave fish - which is probably why I've ended up with serious MTS. ::)

Those diamonds are indeed far lovelier than any I've seen in a shop. 8)

Couple more pics of the Diamond tetras, one is a bit blurry but it does show how the males colour up. The other pic is of a large 'Oto' which I spotted on the front pane of the tank. There are also a few Neons / Cardinals to be seen.
