Like @Sue and her pictures of Rice Fish Fry, our Black Mollies are extremely difficult to photograph. They're too small and quick so it's a bit of pot luck if just one picture in around 20 turn out to be even slightly OK.
Here's the best of our bad bunch.
BTW: After today's water change we now counted 10!

They look cute as well as my rice fish ;D
The nice thing about livebearer fry is that they look like miniature fish rather than the odd shaped things that egg layer fry are :)

Congratulations :cheers:
They look adorable. ;D
Beginning to miss having fry in my tanks, it's lovely watching them grow up.

:wave:
Of course the really odd thing is we got 4 females, 2 Black and 2 Silver, precisely to make sure we didn't get into fish breading territory. Any Hanky-Tanky :yikes: must have happened at MA before we got them!
I'm not telling MA, as they may want to charge extra!
:cheers:

Don't forget mollies can have fry every month or so for around six months if they've ever been in a tank with a male for longer than 10 seconds......

I saw the picture without reading too much. I was wondering how far away the little molly was, hehe. They look lovely.

@marquismirage
I suppose the lens was about 30-35cm away.
The bottom of the water level marker at the back of the tank is 2cm long which fits in with my estimate that the fry are currently 1cm nose to tail.
It also fits in with the Gourami just further down that I guess is 3-4cm body length.

@Sue , I hope not. We'll need to get shot of at least 8 (if they all survive). Would MA buy some back do you think?
We have a theory that our surviving Black Molly adult may not be the mother after all Mrs Adenann was browsing the Internet this afternoon, not interested in the all-day footy. Some sites put forward the idea that Mollies often die after giving birth. It may be that the Molly we lost just before the fry appeared was stressed by the birth together with the recent white spot / fungus treatment. The fry could have been hiding in the gravel for a few days, only appearing after mum had died. Maybe then we won't get any more fry.
