I admit that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and some may not like these fish, fair enough.
But every time I see Bertie I have to tell him that he has amazing bristles, and is a very handsome chap.
He doesn't like having his photo taken, so the best I could do is while he was at the entrance of his cave, watching his cucumber.
Oh, Bertie, those are some impressive bristles. :)

Oh wow! I have never seen a bristlenose with such bristles before ;D
-
He's had the ones on the top of his nose since he matured, but the ones along the bottom/sides have only developed in the past 6 months. :o
-
I think he's absolutely gorgeous - his colouring, his eyes, gorgeous generally... and with very impressive bristles to boot!
Definitely agree - very handsome, and thanks for sharing his pic and letting us drool over it. My BN by proxy. :D

Amazing bristles!
I sometimes wonder if my Bertie might not be female as his (her?) bristles have never grown more than about 5mm. He also has fewer bristles.
Does your female bn have any bristles at all?

He's a little beauty Donna... :)

I'm going to say no @Helen though I will check and try to get a pic today.

Would you believe that it has taken me until this evening to get a picture of Harri.
As you can see @Helen my female doesn't have any bristles at all.
-
Hi Harri,, you look lovely; nice to finally "meet" you.
;D

A quick update on Bertie & his bristles.
A few years on and they are still growing.
He's still my handsome fella. :)
