Title: 125L Tank
Post by: stir on April 27, 2014, 08:45:34 PM
Photos of my 125L tank that was set up in September last year.

Finding it's not the easiest of things to photograph

I am really happy with the wood now, was unsure about whether it was too big initially but think it really fits in well now.  Wasn't great when it was floating to start with and had to be weighted down.

Lovely looking tank - your water looks super clear too! What fish do you have in there?

There is a mixture of smaller fish.

Glowlight Tetras
Neon tetras
Mollies
Otto's
Mickey Mouse Platties
Parrot Platties

The Platties have bred, some still look like the mickey mouse variety I bought initially and some are just plain Orange without the black markings.  I have found that the mixture of fish has worked quite well and offers movement throughout the whole of the tank.  They did take a liking to eating some of the plants I bought initially but I now have a combination that they don't completely destroy.

I am considering adding one of the smaller species of Corys too as the bottom of the tank is still fairly quiet compared to the rest.

You  mean you HAVEN'T got any corys :o :o :o How can you resist them???

Lovely looking tank though, and as Jesnon said, beautiful, crystal clear water.

Definitely get some cories.... they're the bee's knees and ant's armpits!
