Title: nitrate reactor

Hi everyone.Iwas thinking of getting a nitrate reactor,as my tap water always test at 50ppm.Has enyone tried a nitrate reactor,if so do you think they work.I would welcolme any input you have.

I had no idea what a nitrate reactor is, so I googled them. From what I can see, they are used in marine tank (http://www.thinkfish.co.uk/marines/cost)s. Those must have a low nitrate. I have no idea if they could be used on freshwater tanks though.
