Title: JBL CristalProfi filter - anyone using?
Post by: fcmf on February 17, 2018, 02:52:25 PM
Doing a little bit of filter research, in the event that I may need to buy a new one. I do have a spare Fluval U2 but it's rather bulky for my little tank. I had the Eheim Pick-Up and Aquaball ones parked as possibilities (Sue mentioned these in the past) but have also read positive reviews for the JBL CristalProfi - has anyone had any experience of it?

I have been using a JBL Cristalprofi e1501 in my 270 litre tank for about 2 years and have had no problems with it.
It,s quiet and the sponges are still OK. I also have a Fluval 306 running on the same tank which I have had no problems with up to date.

That's reassuring; thanks. I've consequently gone ahead and ordered the internal corner one I'd been eyeing up, so fingers crossed it works out as well for me as other JBL products have.
