Gloves For Use In Fishtank?

Does anyone use gloves for when they're tinkering with the fishtank or doing water changes? I had some pairs of long plastic ones (a bit like clingfilm) in the past but, even sealing the top of them (with a hair bobble/scrunchie) didn't stop the water leaking in. Grateful if anyone can provide any suggestions of what they use. Obviously, I would steer clear of ones with a powder-like substance in them to avoid problems for the tank inhabitants. [I've got a deep cut on my finger which is not healing, and plasters slide off as soon as I get them wet, so it would be good to have some gloves for this and potential future scenarios like this.] Thanks.

Gloves intended for food preparation are good too.

Possibly also quite useful should you ever need to put your hands up a cows bottom.

I just use standard household gloves (marigolds or similar).

I don't use gloves for fish tank maintenance, and I've never stuck my hands up a cows anything (honest).
I do usually use them in the garden though, unless it's just for something like planting seeds/seedlings.
I can see why you might want to wear gloves if you have a cut/plasters on your hand though.
I quite like having my hands in the tank, having the fish investigate, or actually nip in the case of the tiger barbs, shrimp running over your hands....

Thanks, all. Unfortunately this cut is so deep that it stings upon contact with water, so gloves are definitely needed. I'm hoping that the ones I've opted for are thin enough that I do feel what's through them; I followed LF's link (thanks, @Littlefish), so they're the same as those but the ones I ordered are coming from the UK rather than China so ought to be here by early next week.

@Sue, what on earth would Mr Sue think about all that bacteria ending up inside your cut?  You're correct - the reflector leaves a horrible gash as I've had a couple of cuts from those in the past.

Haven’t noticed any perfume or talc on the gloves I get. I do wash them copiously before use.

I have to use gloves because i have a suppressed immune system due to a biological drug i take for severe arthritic problems.

I use these and they are great and have experienced no problems at all' maybe because it's the colour but it don't seem to spook my fish at all.
