Post by: daniel_james_taylor on September 15, 2013, 11:34:27 AM
Hi all,

I havn't used CO2 set-ups in any of my previous aquariums however have been reading about it so am interested if my 200L aquarium would need/benifit from CO2?

My tank info -

Eco 100 Tank:
•   Tank dimensions: 100cm x 40cm x 50cm
•   AquaManta EFX 300 external filter
•   2 x 39w T5 lights & 300w heaterstat
•   (Tank volume is about 180L after decor)
Plants:
•Anubis
•Amazon swords
•Java moss
•Java fern
•Vallisneria

Pic attached to give idea of the set-up.

Thanks :)

Hi Daniel
There a lot of things to consider, time and effort, lots of big water changes, cost of

initial set up,using ferts, flow rates 10x plus, or there is the other option of using liquid carbon and ferts which can be just as rewarding.
