Post by: David on September 24, 2012, 02:23:39 PM
Hi, I'm toying with getting a CO2 kit and was wondering who has one on here, or what people thought of them or experience they have had.

cheers,

David.

I've played around with the fermentation type and I think they're more trouble than they are worth.  They are only suitable for smaller tanks anyway.

However, it really depends upon the amount of light you have in your tank.  The more light, the more likely you are to require CO2

I got one a couple of weeks ago an Ista Single pressure Gauge system

Only problem is the stiffness of the rate valve on top of the regulator ..... takes me around 10 minutes to get it set at around 1 bubble per sec
