Title: Aquarium selection / comparing & contrasting - useful website
Post by: fcmf on April 16, 2016, 12:18:50 PM
A useful website, and I'm sure not the only one, for those looking for a tank to fit into a set space: https://www.seapets.co.uk/aquarium-supplies/aquariums

It has good functionality, allowing to filter (excuse the fish-related pun!) by aquarium size or litres, among other features. Worth looking at "view all", though, as I note a couple have slipped through the net (argh - sorry again!) and not made it through the filters. Good range of tanks too.

Liking the puns

You're not helping my brain switch off to the idea of more fish tanks... My wallet is already battered and bruised  :rotfl:

Anne had a great suggestion of having fish in imaginary tanks. So what I'm doing, at least until such a time as I have an actual additional tank, is imagining which tanks are in various locations in the household, with a very clear image in my mind's eye of which inhabitants are in each. ;)

I tend to keep my wallet empty to avoid such 'bruises'... it's not had a single penny in for 3 weeks now!

When there is only a debit card in there, snacks etc are in the "you can't use your card to pay for" range, so stopping temptation  :isay:
Of course this tactic doesn't stop online purchasing...

P.S. epic puns  ;) I might just start a thread on this... what's that you say? 'I must be codding you'? Sorry, I should know by now that there's a time and a plaice for joke such as that...

PPS. Just let me know when you've haddock enough of this, there's many more where that came from...

An excellent find. Me and the Mrs were talking about getting a nursery/QT tank last night, that site will become very helpful.

Cod only knows where I'd be without threads like these.
