Very surprised to find a white flower in my tank, one of my Anubis plants has flowered.  Is this normal is it OK in there or should I remove it.

I had/have what looks like a small bud on my anubias.  Think I might lose it though as I recently re-vamped the tank with more plants and whereas it was in a small plant pot with fine gravel it is now attached to an ornaments.
It still looks green and healthy but the bud appears to have gone a little brown.      :'(
I was tempted to take it off in the hope that it would encourage more to appear.
I shall look forward to any replies as I might be wasting my waiting time if I only have to pick one off anyway.

Enjoy the flower and then cut it off when it fades is my advice. Very healthy anubia btw  :)

Thanks for the replies and link as soon as it starts to fade I will remove the flower but in the meantime will enjoy it.  I was just so surprise to see a flower under water I was expecting the bud to unfurl and become a leaf.

The tank has only been up and running for 10 weeks so lots of things surprise me at the moment.

I just bought some anubias nana today (not having had them before) and noticed when I got home that one of the plants has a bud. So now I know that I can look forward to a lovely little flower  :)
