Title: moving plants
Post by: Jwc on January 02, 2015, 04:03:37 PM
hi all ive got some long grass type plants that i put in when the tank was first set up last september. now they have spread out but towards the front, i want to move them to the back is it ok to cut the bits that join then all up or would that kill them off. the newer ones are reasonably established to im assuming their own root systems are taking care of each other.

You can cut through the runners, no problem, the younger plants will already have good roots of their own. Aquatic plants seem to grow roots far faster than land plants.
