Quote
A CHESTER man stole fish tank cleaner and two types of fish food from a city pet shop – even though he doesn’t own any fish.
Christopher Alan Davidson, 37, claimed he had been “drunk” on painkillers prescribed for a leg ulcer and didn’t remember the incident at Pets at Home on March 1.
When challenged by staff, he reportedly told them the items belonged to him and he had them with him before he entered the store on Chester Retail Park.

Bizarre - he's clearly got some form of undiagnosed/subconscious MTS ie desperate for fish but doesn't realise it (yet).  ;)
Perhaps he'll realise he'll need to set up a fishtank and purchase fish in order to put the stolen goods to some use rather than let them go to waste (unless he's had to hand them back). Let's hope he's off the medication soon, though, if that's the effect it has on him - and for the sake of any fish he has in his care in future.

It's a little crazy for sure, in fact; what a great defence. Your honour I'm clearly unwell, evident by my choice of stolen goods
