Saw this on a Facebook page.

Apparently, APC, the only company that are 'licenced' to transport live fish, have temporarily suspended the service.

This will be a blow to some who buy fish online, especially those who go for exotic or rare species.

The chances are there are other couriers which only deal with wholesalers and shops and aren't available to the general public.

But just because APC was the only fully licensed courier doesn't stop people using other couriers, including Royal Mail.

Unfortunately, Royal Mail won't (that is, if the contents are declared properly!)

These sellers just label the box as fragile. I've had fish delivered by Royal Mail in the past so I know there is nothing on the box to indicate they contain live fish.

I found this on the PFK website. I would suggest that, if you are considering mail-order, that you check with your supplier.

A Selection of Fish in my Fish Community Creator Tanks
Angelfish (1) - Panda Cory (10) - Harlequin Rasbora (10) - Otocinclus (10) - Japonica Shrimp (10) - Honey Gourami (10) - Galaxy Rasbora (10) -
Note: The user may not necessarily own these fish, these are tanks that they may be building or researching for stocking purposes
