Post by: kittenbloodcoffee on May 28, 2021, 02:15:48 PM
Hi all,
Was just wondering if anyone could help me and a friend id this creature, it was found in a rock pool.
Many thanks
(Also it was put straight back in the same pool after the picture)

I assume this was a rock pool filled with sea water?

I'm afraid I don't know much about marine creatures  :(

Yes it was, I’m seeking the answer because it looked different to krill and shrimp

My best guess would be brown shrimp - in what ways did you believe it looked different to shrimp?

It looks more like an insect larva of some description. It's those.....tenctacles, spikes, things..... sticking out of the head that give me that impression.
