One of my cories which I think is female is exceptionally greedy. She's been a bit pigeon chested for a while now but other than that seems hale a hearty and is eating. I feed all the fish blanched peas twice a week, between times a mix of bloodworm, daphnia, brine shrimp, catfish pellets and fine flaked food.

She doesnt lie flat like the other cories because she's so fat and rests in a tail up kind of tilt forward. Should I be worried or is she just greedy?

That sounds like one of my habrosus cories. This one is also paler than the rest. But it is one of the first habrosus that I got and it is still going strong. I assume from your signature that yours is a habrosus (salt & pepper) cory too?

I use behaviour as the guide to fish health where there is a lack of physical symptoms like white spots or disintegrating fins. If a fish looks fine and behaves fine, I just keep an eye on it till something changes.
An example - another habrosus cory, a smaller one with nice dark markings, suddenly started wedging itself in the hornwort. This is not typical habrosus cory behaviour; sitting on broad leaves yes but not wedging themselves inside a fine leaved plant. I found it dead a couple of days later.

Yup it is a habrosus cory and apart from the pigeon chest she's asymptomatic. I've noticed two of my cories are a lot paler than the others too.

I'll keep a close eye on her Sue and let you know if anything changes. Thanks.
