I placed two pygmy corys into quarantine the day I bought them (9th June)
When could I put them in the main tank.
They appear active and healthy

Two weeks is generally advised. You'll probably have seen Sue's post recently about Whitespot appearing about 8 days after purchasing her fish. I quarantined my harlequins for 2.5 weeks.

Good luck with your pygmy cories - they are very cute.

Thanks fcm.
The other half has actually suggested we leave the tank up and running until Friday, and there was me thinking he must be getting fed up with three tanks bubbling away in the living room.

I'll give them a clean today as there's a bit of algae (the only place I have for them is in the bay where it get a lot of light) and I was going to leave it as I wasn't planning on leaving them in there  long.

They are very cute. I've got one hasbrosus and one hastatus to go with the hasbrosus I already have.  I call them my babies but they are probably full grown

Two weeks is regarded as absolute minimum with others saying 2 months is needed for internal parasites and infections to show up. It's mainly people with very expensive fish in their main tanks that quarantine for a long time to protect their current fish.

Thanks Sue. It will be 17 days on Friday so I'm hoping they will be fine.

I have just done a big water change (panic - one was missing. I had emptied out most of the hard scaping as well as the plants, just leaving a few largish  pebbles.

Other half said I was mad, they couldn't be missing there was so little in the tank, including water.
Even he had to admit defeat as he couldn't see them.
Just as I was putting the fresh water back in, it re-appeared.
Honestly, I don't think my  nerves can take much more !!!!
