Dwarf Gourami -DGIV

Unfortunately it is still a problem. In a tank that size, you could always look at thick lipped gouramis if it is the striped dwarfs you are interested in.

When I first stocked my tank, I had dwarf gouramis. I had quite a few and found they weren't very robust. I'm sorry to say that i found the beautiful blue ones to be some of the least robust. I don't know whether they had DGIV, but I was worried that was why they nearly always seemed sick.  And I never worked out why they were ill.

I now have pearl gouramis. But I have to admit that I've not really had them long enough to say for sure that they are definitely healthier. But I do get the impression that they are more sturdy.

Already have Pearl Gourami in tank - very beautiful I think.

The more I hear the more I'm concerned so I could have to look at the Thick Lipped instead.
