I just noticed one of my new cherry shrimp is berried, however the eggs are white. I only noticed because she was upside-down with her belly facing the front, otherwise I wouldn't have known she was berried. I cant remember if the eggs are white usually.

Mine usually carry white eggs. Though I understand they can be yellow or even green.

Mine have always been white - those that I've seen anyway! Good Luck!

I just noticed a bunch of eggs in the java moss and they're cream rather than white. I'm guessing the new female has dumped them?  :(  I've no idea how and where eggs turn into shrimplets. Anyone?

You could try sucking them up with a pipette and keeping them in a tub of tank water and see what happens. If the shrimp was new, it is possible that stress caused her to drop them. Although if they were infertile, she would probably have dumped them.

Ah! Thanks Sue,so the female has a shrimpy birth. The dumped eggs are actually quite small. I guess she must have been stressed bless her.
