Title: live fish food
Post by: chris213 on December 31, 2014, 04:53:40 PM
hi all
time for a daft question

i just bought some live food for the first time today (new years treat for fish )i was just wondering what is the best way to put it in the tank , i bought blood worm and daphnia - do people just pour it all in with the water in the bag or try to scoop it out in a fine net reducing the water going in to the tank.

On the odd occasion I've used live food, I have sieved it first. It may not be necessary but I preferred not to add the bag water.

I use a fine net then put them into a jug of aquarium water to soak in for 5/10 minutes before adding.
