Title: JBL NovoBel - fish not eating palest-coloured flakes

Just wondering if anyone else finds that their fish don't eat the palest coloured flakes? I first noticed this a couple of months ago in the main tank, then noticed those in the QT were doing the same. They swim up, take a look/taste, then retract to find a better coloured/tasting flake. Now that everyone's in the main tank, this situation continues.

I crush my flakes up so I don't know if my fish can tell. They do seem to eat everything though.

Similar to Helen, I crush flakes up a bit, so can't tell.
I'll try using the flakes as they are, and will watch the gang.
