Anyone know how you separate newly hatched brine shrimp from the saline water? I'm not sure adding saline water to the fry tank will be healthy for the fry and the shrimp just disappear through the netting!

I have no idea how small they are but would it be possible to sieve them through a piece of fine fabric, eg a handkerchief, suspended in something the size of a tea strainer? That's the technique I use for sieving my husband's elderflower champagne into bottles, though admittedly on a larger scale (he makes 8 pints at a time)

They're rough 1mm or less in size, maybe a stocking will work, ta @Sue

You can buy brine shrimp nets. Instead of netting with holes they are very close mesh - more like a net curtain. But a stocking would work just as well. Or at least, the toe of one or a knee high sock.
