German Blue Ram, With Rosy Tetras?

GBRs tend to be more "bark than bite" ie. they will bully fish and stress them out but rarely cause any physical damage.  It sounds to me like you GBR has claimed the entire bottom of the tank as his territory in preparation for meeting another female and the cory's are therefore now his only challenger and therefore the focus of his attention.

Moving him will accompany 2 things, 'resetting' his territorial behaviour; and it will also put him in a tank with less 'challengers' to his territory, therefore his is likely to have less to cause his aggression. 

It is likely that if there are any very young fry in the tank, that they would be eaten, though this depends on the size of your young angels and whether you wanted you platy numbers to grow or not.

If you want to try and encourage the GBR to claim only a part of the tank, try to section off different parts of the tank in some way (eg. with stones, wood plants etc.)
